On September 18, 2004, six members of the Queen’s Executive MBA program, “team Canzania”, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for a small village (Matapwili) near the Saadani region of Tanzania. The Kilimanjaro climb was part of a larger effort by the MBA team to create community development plan for the village. Through small donations from friends, family, and colleagues, the team was able to raise over $2000 in support of a revolving loan fund for a bee keeping project in the village.
After our incredible experience in Tanzania and the success of the Kilimanjaro pledge climb, the team decided it would undertake future fundraising efforts in support of Matapwili village.
Thank you for your support and please check back from time to time for the latest news and events.
How are you.
I do ta\ke this opportunity to greet you and ask you when you come again to Tanzania if you could visit us and see how we have been involved with the beekeeping activities.
I have planned to establish the project for the farmers who deal with the beekeeping. I would like if you can visit us and giving us some support
I look forward to hear from you.
